Grab your little ones and join us at St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich this May Half-Term for our brand new live music extravanganza. Featuring an amazing Live Band, incredible Singers, gorgeous Dancers and hilarious Comedy acts, you’ll be treated to 70 minutes of hits perfect for little and big kids alike.

From film classics from Disney, Trolls, Sing & Despicable Me to chart-topping hits featuring Little Mix, Ariana Grande…and of course, Dance Monkey, we’ve got something for kids of all ages to enjoy – along with a few appearances from their favourite characters! Don’t worry though parents, we’ve got something for you too as we take you on a little journey back to the 90’s to re-live your youth (and teach the little ones how it’s really done!)

Kidz Pop Party is brought to you by the team behind Norwich’s 2020 Smash-Hit Halloween Show ‘The Monster Club’ and features popular vocalist Joe Ringer who is joined by award-winning funnyman and ventriloquist Kieran Powell, his live band and incredible singers and dancers. The show will be presented in a fully Covid-secure, socially distanced environment and runs daily (3.30pm & 6.30pm) from Monday 31st May to Saturday 5th June 2021.

FAQs

The Monster Club is a Unique Halloween Cabaret, an entertaining fusion of live music, dancing, circus and comedy. Once you enter The Monster Club seating is allocated on a first come first serve basis so we recommend arriving early. Inside the ‘Haunted Big Top’ you will find a refreshment bar serving drinks and snacks and just outside the venue we have toilet facilities, the bar and toilets will remain available throughout the performance. The show is 75 minutes long and incorporates live music playing halloween hits, immersive circus artists, interactive comedy and spooky party dancing.

The show is directed towards the family audience and is ‘spooky’ rather than ‘scary – with nothing made to shock you – we will be careful in keeping it lighthearted and fun. The venue may be darker at times, but nothing in the show will be set to deliberately scare anyone. We have tried to make the show enjoyable and accessible for children of all ages.

There is no box office onsite and all tickets are sold via our online booking system, however if you have a mobile device with internet access we can guide you to the booking website if you do require more tickets on the day of the event. This is subject to availability.

This isn’t a problem, when you come to The Monster Club simply have with the name of the lead booker and we’ll be able find you on our electronic guest list. Tickets are only issued via email on on the day of purchase. Tickets don’t need to be printed out, if you can have the QR codes handy we can scan them directly from your phone screen.

The entire show is interactive and guests are encourage to join in along the way.

Seats are not numbered and space will be allocated for your party size on arrival. The ‘Haunted Big Top’ comfortably seats 300 people around a raised stage ensuring the best view from wherever you’re sat.

The Monster Club at Wensum Valley Hotel has plenty of onsite parking and you are free to park anywhere on site. Following SatNav and The Monster Clubs directional signs that will guide you straight to the car park and the ‘Haunted Big Top’. 

Yes we are able to accommodate anyone with mobility issues. Wheelchair parties will be guided directly into The Monster Club and seats will be allocated according to their requirements.

OAPs, Blue Badge Holders, NHS Workers & Blue Light Card Holders. Please be prepared to show any relevant ID cards. If you have any queries regarding concession tickets please feel free to contact us.

The show runs at approximately 1hr15mins with no interval. We ask that all guests arrive at least 10 minutes before the performance.

The Monster Club will be open 45 mins before the start of each performance. Guests will be brought into the tent from the car park to avoid congestion inside the venue, which will allow for easy and quick access to your seats. Please be aware, we ask all attending guests to be onsite at least 10 minutes before the performance. To allow for everyone to be seated comfortably before the performance.

Yes, we have a bar operating throughout the performance. PLEASE NOTE WE DO OPERATE A CHALLENGE 25 POLICY IN OUR VENUE.

Snacks will be readily available throughout the performance, such as Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Sweets and Treats. We don’t allow outside food inside the venue unless there is a special arrangement due to medical needs (please contact us if you have requirements regarding this)

The Monster Club uses flashing lights and short strobe effects directed only to the stage and the performing artists.

Face Coverings are no longer a governmentally imposed requirement, and we leave wearing them when entering, leaving and moving around the Big Top to the guests’ discretion. We just ask that you consider the other audience members and maintain social distancing wherever possible.
